Mission

To assume a pioneering role in the social responsibility of providing security to the Indonesian citizens in partnership with the
Government by establishing a compulsory earthquake insurance scheme for all registered residential buildings and household contents.

To improve forecasting and monitoring through extension and upgrading of seismological network and state of the art equipment
of the Meteorological and Geophysical Agency (MGA), educational work on disaster understanding, preparedness, safety and
improvement of building code.

To increase the awareness towards insurance of natural disasters and to stimulate the insurance density.
