MAIPARK collaborates with the Actuarial study program of Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM) in teaching the Indonesian Natural Disaster Insurance course. Natural Disaster Insurance teaching focuses on three main topics: Indonesian Disaster Risk Financing &; Insurance, Natural Disaster Risk Quantification with Catastrophe Modeling, and Natural Disaster Technical Reserves.
This is an important momentum to increase understanding and awareness, especially within academics, both researchers and prospective young researchers to realize a disaster-resilient Indonesia through science-based risk management.
