Thursday, April 13, 2023 at The Westin Jakarta, PT Reasuransi MAIPARK Indonesia held the Resonance-MAIPARK Annual CEO Forum 2023. Titled Alarm from Turkey: General Insurance Industry Response & Readiness for Similar Potential in Indonesia, this activity is the Turkish earthquake and its relevance to similar potential in Indonesia. Turkey and Indonesia share similarities regarding their high level of risk and structure.
The event which lasted for approximately two hours presented competent speakers and experts in their fields, including President Director of MAIPARK Kocu Andre Hutagalung, Head of the BMKG Earthquake and Tsunami Center Dr. Daryono, Chairman of the National Earthquake Study Center Prof. Sri Widiyantoro and Chairman of the Indonesian Construction Experts Association Prof. Iswandi Imran, where Prof. Sri Widiyantoro and Prof. Iswandi Imran are also part of the MAIPARK Research Network.
This resonance is intended as a forum for annual strategic dialogue between executives of general insurance and reinsurance companies related to natural disaster risk management in Indonesia.
