Sport…, yes, according to Wikipedia, sport is an activity to train one's body, not only physically but also spiritually, an activity that is now being put forward to maintain the fitness of the entire MAIPARK community. This sport is implemented and carried out once a week, every Tuesday. It is undeniable that the old jargon "Mens sana in corpore sano" which was born from the Roman poet, Decimus Iunius Juvenalis, in Satire X, 2nd century AD was an invitation to live a healthy life even though at first, these words were born to satirize the ridiculousness of the nation. Roman. It literally means that in a strong body there is a healthy soul. Therefore, thinking from that, all MAIPARK people carry out routine sports activities such as gymnastics and badminton. The understanding to get a strong and healthy body requires exercise is true, because if the body is strong and healthy then the soul is healthy too. If the soul is healthy, the mind will automatically clear. But if the soul is sick, there will be no clear mind that can support work activities.
According to the President Director of PT Reasuransi MAIPARK Indonesia, Ahmad Fauzie Darwis, carrying out this routine sports activity reflects the expression Mens sana in corpore sano. “In my opinion, sports will make us physically and mentally strong, if we are physically and mentally healthy, it will indirectly produce strong MAIPARK individuals whose estuaries will contribute to the company's performance. If the individual is sick, mentally weak, physically and spiritually unhealthy, it can be seen that the contribution will not occur. Therefore, I hope that all MAIPARK employees can participate in exercising together,” said Ahmad Fauzie.
Gymnastics together every Tuesday is done after the busy work routine is over. Starting at 17:00 until finished and held in the food court area. Gymnastics is guided by experienced instructors who vary each time the event is held. All participants followed the instructor's movements with music that burned the spirit. "By doing this sport on a regular basis, I hope that the spirit of this sport will give birth to a better spirit and work ethic," hoped Ahmad Fauzie Darwis.
